Mimona Selenites & Fossils dispatches orders from Cambridge, United Kingdom.

We take particular care when packing crystals, minerals, fossils, selenite and other fragile or heavy items. Products are securely packaged using appropriate protective materials to help ensure they arrive safely.

Order Processing

Orders are normally processed and dispatched within 1–3 business days.

During particularly busy periods, promotional events, public holidays or circumstances outside our reasonable control, processing may occasionally take longer.

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive any available shipping or tracking information by email.

UK Delivery

We deliver throughout the United Kingdom.

Shipping charges are calculated according to the products in your order and are displayed at checkout before payment.

Depending on the size and weight of the products ordered, your order may be shipped as a Large Letter, Small Parcel or Medium Parcel.

Our standard UK delivery services generally have an estimated delivery time of approximately 2–3 business days after dispatch.

Delivery estimates are not guaranteed and may occasionally be affected by carrier delays or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Where an order contains products requiring different parcel formats or separate shipments, the applicable shipping charges will be calculated and displayed at checkout.

International Delivery

We currently offer international delivery to selected destinations, including:

United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Netherlands and Spain.

International shipping availability depends on the products ordered and the destination.

International orders are sent using a tracked shipping service. Tracking information will be provided where available after dispatch.

Estimated delivery times after dispatch are generally:

Europe: approximately 3–5 business days
United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand: approximately 5–7 business days

These are estimated delivery times and are not guaranteed. Customs processing, local delivery networks and other circumstances outside our reasonable control can result in longer delivery times.

International Size and Weight Restrictions

Our international shipping options are currently intended for eligible Large Letter and Small Parcel shipments up to 2 kg.

Certain heavy, bulky or oversized products are therefore available for UK delivery only.

If an international shipping option is not displayed for your order and destination at checkout, we are currently unable to ship that particular order to the selected destination using our available international services.

Customs, Duties and Import Charges

International shipments may be subject to customs procedures, import VAT, customs duties, taxes, handling charges or other fees imposed by the destination country or relevant authorities.

Where these charges are not collected at checkout or included in the shipping service, they are the responsibility of the recipient.

Customs requirements and charges vary between countries and may change. Customers are responsible for ensuring that products ordered can lawfully be imported into their destination country.

Customs processing may also cause delivery delays outside our reasonable control.

Tracking

International orders are shipped using tracked services.

Tracking information will be supplied after dispatch where available.

For UK orders, tracking or delivery confirmation will be provided where supported by the shipping service used.

Please allow some time after dispatch for tracking information to become active within the carrier's system.

Packaging & Care

Crystals, fossils, minerals and selenite can be naturally fragile, heavy or irregularly shaped.

We carefully package orders using appropriate protective materials based on the nature, size and weight of the products being shipped.

Despite careful packaging, damage can occasionally occur during transit.

If your order arrives damaged, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible and provide photographs of the item and packaging where possible. This helps us investigate the issue and arrange an appropriate resolution.

Your statutory rights are not affected.

Incorrect or Incomplete Addresses

Customers are responsible for checking that the delivery address supplied at checkout is accurate and complete.

If you notice an error after placing your order, please contact us as soon as possible at info@mimonaselenitesfossils.org.

If the order has not yet been dispatched, we will make reasonable efforts to correct the address.

Once an order has been dispatched, we may not be able to change or redirect it.

If an order is returned to us because an incorrect or incomplete address was supplied, we will contact you to discuss the available options. Additional postage may be required for redelivery where appropriate and permitted by law.

Delivery Delays

Delivery can occasionally be delayed by circumstances including:

carrier or postal disruption;
customs or border processing;
severe weather;
public holidays;
unusually high seasonal demand; or
other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

If we become aware of a significant problem affecting your order, we will take reasonable steps to assist.

Nothing in this Shipping Policy limits your statutory rights regarding delivery.

Lost or Missing Orders

If your order has not arrived within the expected timeframe, please check any tracking information provided and then contact us.

We will investigate the shipment with the relevant delivery provider where appropriate.

Please do not assume that an international shipment is lost solely because it has exceeded the estimated delivery timeframe, as customs and local postal delays can sometimes occur.
